Mouse-Guard-v1-Fall-1152-GN-CoverI had known about MOUSE GUARD, of course, because it was hard NOT to know about MOUSE GUARD.  When it first start appearing in 2007, it was one of those titles that quickly generated buzz which led to fast sales and suddenly high priced back issues.  I had missed it when it came out and, when I decided to go back and check it out, the back issues were too expensive.  So, like the ‘hot girl’ you always hear about at school but never seem to meet, I hadn’t read MOUSE GUARD… until now.

I wrote the article "Writing Backwards: The Novels of William Hope Hodgson" in which I presented evidence that WHH wrote his novels in the reverse order in which they were published.
